We are looking for a kitchen hand for the French patisserie/café at Rozelle, NSW. This is a casual time position. The applicant must be an experienced kitchen hand to join our team. We offer professional and fantastic working culture. Applicants have to work 5-day shifts. Applicant’s main duties include support chefs do ingredient preparation, line quiches, pies and tart base, general kitchen cleaning, etc. The applicant must have at least 2 years of experience working in a commercial kitchen environment as a kitchen hand.
The applicant must have basic knife skills and meat frying skills and experience. The applicant must know in and out about general kitchen duties and disciplines and also be able to strictly follow the chef’s instructions. The applicant must have working right required. The applicant must have cleaning knowledge and skills in the commercial environment.
The applicant must be able to speak fluent English and writing and keen to learn new skills, especially handcrafting. The applicant must be well organized and presented with a high standard of personal hygiene and work independently without supervision. The applicant must be able to work in a fast pace environment. We look for people who are team working, multi-tasking, positive working attitude, and willingness to learn new skills.
